Friends, family and community!

In 2014, a group of students at George Brown College dreamed up an event called the 'Emerging Leadership Night'. This idea was simple; the team had to develop and execute a fundraising event for the Sport and Event Marketing (B400) program. They knew that this was also a perfect way to get our classmates and others out to celebrate the end of our postgraduate journey, all while raising funds to make sure future individuals would be able to join us in our soon-to-be field of work!

 

However, to make an impact, we had to commit to a long term journey. Through an endowment at the Pinball Clemons Foundation, the team created an award that would start in 2015, and for the next 20 years it would support a $1,000 bursary awarded annually to a student in Sport and Event Marketing.

 

This is an opportunity to help individuals achieve not only their dreams, but also an education of a lifetime. Any donation, no matter how big or small will make the world of difference, and I hope that will consider being a part of this journey.
