The bursary program has been amazing to me both financially and also with helping me plan out my career journey. The people and connections I’ve made with people from this program is nothing short of special. I am really thankful for this as it has made university much easier for me.

Any comments you would like to share about being matched with the Black Legend that your September 2023 Bursary was named after

I was blessed enough to receive the Herb Carnegie Bursary. I am a very big sports person so this was a major honour as he helped create opportunities for people like me.

2023 Academic/Personal Highlight

My academic highlight is that I was an honour student for first semester and that truly means a lot to me. Also reaching 11 thousand followers on my UFRecruiting Instagram account was a major honour as a plan to do something through sports and/or diversity and inclusion.
