The Bursary Program means so much to me throughout the last years because it has given me the opportunity to attend school with out having to stress about having to pay school tuition fees so I am able to give my full attention on working hard and doing well in school and it’s very rewarding I am truly thankful and blessed to be apart of such an amazing program with amazing people who want to see you succeed and will do whatever in there power to give you the resources in doing including the incredible mentorship sessions as well as the awesome career assistance they have in place to help us young students find incredible jobs within there desired career paths with all of these amazing people and assistance they provide put in place for us youth it’s a real true blessing to be able to say your apart of.

I am immensely grateful and honored to share that I have been matched with the remarkable Black legend, Rose Fortune, and awarded a bursary named after her. This recognition not only celebrates Rose Fortune's indelible legacy but also underscores the importance of diversity and inclusion in our educational institutions. Rose Fortune's enduring impact and trailblazing spirit serve as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come. Her resilience and determination in the face of adversity exemplify the strength and tenacity needed to overcome obstacles and make a lasting difference in society. Receiving a bursary in her name is not only a testament to her remarkable life but also a reminder of the importance of recognizing and honoring the contributions of Black individuals throughout history. I am deeply thankful to those who have made this bursary possible and to Rose Fortune for her pioneering spirit, which continues to inspire us all.
2023 Academic/Personal Highlight
An 2023 Academic/ Personal Highlight for me was making sure I gave my full attention and focus too my education and keeping a decently good grade point average definitely way above what I expected for my self walking into the start of the school year.
