A LOOK INTO
THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FUND
We recognize that supporting youth at an early age is important for their development, and youth are less likely to need interventional support as they grow. We have partnered with several organizations with deep ties to community to help grow strong future leaders as they transition from high school to career.
This fund will support educational summer camps, weekend programs, dinners for homeless youth, post-secondary prep courses, anti-racism training, anti-oppression training, child and youth worker support, and alumni support and retention.
The Pinball Clemons Foundation provides the following support through the Youth Development Fund:

Summer camps for youth in low income communities with a focus on athletics, academics and leadership

Staff to support youth success at a homeless shelter

Monthly dinners and holiday parties at a homeless shelter

School programming designed to help students figure out their next steps after Secondary schooling

Office Administration for youth leadership programming

Anti-Racism Training Workshops for educators that focus on building a powerful sense of community within the classroom and the greater school community

Allyship/Anti-Oppression Training Workshops for youth that equips them to identify ways that they can show up as allies for others and highlights the power in having a reason to stand for others

Recruitment staff for a bootcamp style trades program that places marginalized youth into careers within 15 weeks
