Tis The Season! - Christmas with the Clemons

On Wednesday, December 5th, the community of Mississauga, including 400 local youth and other jolly folks throughout the GTA kicked off the holidays with the 5th Annual Christmas with the Clemons hosted by none other than Pinball and Rachel Clemons. For the first time, the show was held at the beautiful Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. It featured Christmas stories, sprinkled in between musical and artistic performances.

Outside of putting everyone in the Christmas spirit, the goal of the concert was to raise funds for scholarships and bursaries for youth pursuing education in the new year. The proceeds supported under-resourced and marginalized youth in our community through the gift of education.

Christmas with the Clemons featured foundation co-founder Diane Clemons. She was accompanied by an incredible line-up of performers, which was highlighted by Juno Award winners and nominees Jully Black, Divine Brown and Mark Masri.

In addition, Christmas with the Clemons showcased many up and coming young Canadian performers, such as Toronto Argonauts Anthem Singer Alexi Coutu, Rhyan Douglas, and Toronto Raptors half-time performers Jade Hip-Hop Dancers. All the performances were amazing and unforgettable. We were truly lucky to have such an unbelievable line-up.

This magical evening could not have been possible without the help of our generous sponsors, especially our presenting sponsor Pizzaville. A sincere thank you to Pizzaville, Canadian Tire (Prince George), Teacher’s Life, Central Ontario Building Trades, Faith Strong, Fox 40 and Resource Integrated.
