How does this person inspire you?
Harriet Tubman inspires me because she didn't let her present situation determine her future. She was born into slavery and fought her way into freedom. When she finally got her freedom she didn't stop there. She was aware that her past situation was the present situation for a lot of other Black people so instead of turning her back on them, she ran back toward what she initially was running away from and freed as many Black people as she could until God said her time was done. This reminds me to always strive for greatness but also to never forget where I came from when I do make it and to help as many people as I can.
