Being a part of this incredible program and receiving the blessing of this scholarship has not only impacted me profoundly but has also brought immense joy to my family. The relief of not grappling with the burden of covering substantial expenses for such a crucial aspect of my life, like secondary education, has been transformative. This financial support has liberated me from the constant struggle of working around the clock to settle student loans, reducing my stress and allowing me to concentrate on my studies. Additionally, it has granted me the freedom to actively engage in Varsity basketball. The mentorship provided by the program has proven invaluable, offering me guidance and insights that have significantly shaped my university journey during my first year.

Being matched with my legend Harry Jerome has been amazing. His story of his athletic journey and his unfortunate injuries resonates with me in such a deep way because I have gone through those struggles in my career
2023 Academic/Personal Highlight
I am a youth basketball coach and tutor with the program YAAACE. I have been playing Varsity basketball and I have enjoyed it very much and the team is doing wonderful. I have been adjusting to school well and have enjoyed may of my classes.
