International Women’s Day is a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and achievements of women across the globe. At the Pinball Foundation, this celebration extends far beyond a single day - it’s a commitment we carry all year long.
On March 2nd, that commitment came to life through Give Her Flowers, a special gathering held at Smeg Toronto. The event brought together an inspiring group of women, from executives to students in our PinballBURSARY program, for an afternoon centered on connection, mentorship, and celebration.
From the moment the event began, the atmosphere was filled with openness and shared purpose. Women at different stages of their journeys came together not just to network, but to genuinely connect.
Through meaningful conversations, stories, lessons, and insights were exchanged. For our students, it was a chance to learn directly from leaders who have navigated their paths with determination and grace. For the executives, it was an opportunity to give back, mentor, and witness the potential of the next generation.
One of the most powerful takeaways from the afternoon was clear: when women uplift one another, incredible things happen. Mentorship becomes more than guidance, it becomes empowerment. Connection becomes more than conversation, it becomes community. Support becomes more than a gesture, it becomes the foundation for growth, confidence, and opportunity. At the Pinball Foundation, we’ve seen firsthand how these connections can shape futures, open doors, and inspire bold ambitions.
As we reflect on International Women’s Day, we honour the women who have shaped us, supported us, and continue to rise alongside us. When we choose to uplift one another, we create impact that lasts far beyond a single day.
